This was made in Unity mainly as eyecandy. So no, HFO will not look like this.

I like the frigate, but I thought the alien ship in the second image was a bit too smooth. It looks like it needed some grooves on its surface. perhaps some dark purple lines would make them look like grooves in it.

What I really wanna ask you all today is this. I currently have two Covenant carrier models for my mod and I now have another carrier model designed but I'm not sure if I need three carriers. What do you all think? Should I still add it in?

As for updates; here's a preview.

three covie carriers might be a bit much. but if you could beat all three of them in the same battle then you are either a great tactician or a soulless douche... or incredibly lucky

I think just an assault carrier and a super carrier should do, unless the third one has a specific role in a battle.

Well, the way I have it now:
Top: Flagship
Middle: The Covenant's current carrier model
Bottom: An older carrier model but still used by the Covenant

You should keep the top one with a role of both a carrier as well as a direct combat ship, but slower than a cruiser, and the middle one can be for the purpose of just bring a carrier. In Halo evolutions it mentioned a ship that was solely for launching smaller ships into battle, like fighters, or in the novel, boarding craft. Perhaps that could be the ship in the middle. The bottom one was more of a battleship in Halo Wars than a carrier, so perhaps it could be used as a battleship early in the game, as that ship appeared in Halo Wars but not in games that took place later in the series.

i thought the one on the bottom was a destroyer. i might be wrong but thats what i thought it was
