red ring of death has it happend to you
i was playing assasins creed 2 when it struck once more
this is the third time its happened to me and i really hate the red ring of death

so has it happened to you

Yea its a nightmare. Theres ways of fixing them but its something that needs the knowhow to do. + you gotta take the thing appart.

I have not had the RRoD.  I don't foresee getting it anytime soon either.

impossible to foresee it is

it can happen to anyone at any time one of my friends had it happen to him about a month ago his xbox was 3 weeks old
at least it doesn't take that long to get it back when my ps3 broke it took ages to get back

I think I never got it because my Xbox has never been hooked up to XBL, but that's just a theory

Supposedly the problem if more likely to happen if you got your console when it 1st came out. The later models had that problem reduced, but it still happens.

Have to admit that Microsoft were rather nice to have the Red Ring warrenty last 3 years as a response to the Red Rings of Death.

They responded in a fashion that implies they'd prefer to keep their customers happy with their product.

hey, the 360 was a big investment on their part they want people to buy it, so they have to do a good job with customer service

I got it's bastard brother, the E34 error. Mailed it off to Microsoft, got it back in less then a week.
