they could've "borrowed" it from the UNSC, or just built themselves, at great cost however

The Io wasn't a corvette. It was a very damaged Marathon class Cruiser. I'm fairly sure of that.

they stole the Origami the Bellerophon and the Callisto. Those were all UNSC property until they were "borrowed" by the URF.  i don't remember any mention of an "Io" except Cortana referring to Jupiter's moon.


Got another question. are you using the UNSC The Heart of Midlothian as a template for your destroyers

I think that The Last Stand of Admiral Cole needs to be recreated. Look it up on Halopedia if you don't know what it is.

No the Io was a frigate I believe,it was small of which im sure.
Just check halopedia now.

Hmm according to halopedia it is a cruiser but it has 2 Macs?
Dont think we can trust halopedia on this one then.

the Io is a cruiser. the only cruisers in the UNSC Navy is the Halcyon and the Marathon

Speaking of the rebels and stolen UNSC ships, I think we could work that into an early campaign part. Since in the beginning of a campaign, there is a low tech level, facing destroyers and a cruiser would be a challenge, although it would be not too hard late game. In the campaign, possibly at a low tech level where only frigates and corvettes are available, you could be ordered to raid some rebel bases, and at the final rebel base,  you attack an asteroid base with a fleet of many corvettes and halfway through the battle, a the Io comes out, and since its a cruiser and you have only corvettes and frigates, your numbers are matched by its large firepower. In a way it is similar to the EAW mission where the Empire attacks Mon Calamari and halfway through you have to face Mon Calamari Cruisers.

In H:FO, are players going to be able to have units garrison inside civilian buildings?
